Art Exhibition 17th and 18th November
We are pleased to announce that BCYC will be hosting an exhibition of original art by Francine Davies on the 17th and 18th of November. This will take place from 1800 to 2200 on Friday 17th and from 1000 to 1500 on Saturday 18th. Francine Davies is based in Ogmore on Sea and specialises in sea-scapes. She has also created a portfolio of landscape art based on a recent tour of Iceland. A link to her website can be found here https://francinedavies.art/

Laying Up Supper 27th October 2023
The menu for next week’s laying up supper takes us from sea, to land, then pure indulgence. To book your place, please complete this short form, ensuring you tell us if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.

Starter: Timbale of salmon with a cockle, leek and laverbread fritter and smoked prawns
Main: lamb shank in a red wine jus served with fondant potato and a medley of root vegetables
OR
vegetarian option of a vegetable wellington
Dessert: chocolate cheesecake with lemon and berry posset
Followed by a sharing cheese board including a selection of Welsh cheeses – perfect accompaniment to a glass of port, should one desire.

BCYC High Tea Saturday 26th August
We are holding a high tea, with fizz available for those more partial to a cold drink, on Saturday 26th August from 3pm. The price is £18.95 and reservations can be made online using the High Tea booking form.

BCYC AGM and Buffet 30th August 2023
The BCYC AGM will be held on 30th August 2023 at the Clubhouse, commencing at 18:30. You should have received a formal notice, including end of year accounts ad Minutes from 2022. If you haven’t received these please contact HonSec@BCYC.co.uk
Following the meeting you are invited to participate in a hot buffet priced at £23 per head. There will also be a selection of cakes for those who’d like desert. The cost for 2 courses is £27. To make a reservation, please complete the AGM hot buffet form
